Biography
Mr. Enriquez is a member of the firm's Trust, Estate Planning & Administration Group. Joseph concentrates his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, including the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents, as well as the settlement of Trusts and Estate Administration. He practices in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Joseph provides sophisticated tax and estate planning to a wide range of high-net-worth clients. His clients include business owners, individuals, and married couples seeking asset protection, estate tax limitation or elimination, and wealth succession planning. Joseph has extensive experience in probate practice, including estate administration, will contests, claims against estates, tax issues involving estates, and fiduciary representation.
In addition to helping clients plan and administer their estates, Joseph also has a track record of success in trusts and estates litigation, at both the probate and superior court levels. Joseph has been a featured speaker on estate planning and business law issues at business associations, community groups, and educational events. He is also a past member of the Ethics Committee of the Boston Bar Association. Joseph has represented multinational corporations in local commercial development. He has successfully defended appeals of favorable zoning issues for clients in various commercial projects. He has represented individuals and national organizations in Superior and District Court trials.
Prior to joining Chace Ruttenberg & Freedman, Joseph was a partner at Hinckley Allen & Snyder,LLP in their Providence and Boston offices, and was previously a partner at DarrowEverett, LLP in their Providence and Fall River offices.
