Drew P. Kaplan

Mr. Kaplan is a member of the firm's Business, Corporate & Non-Profit Group; Trust, Estate Planning & Administration Group; and Real Estate Group. Drew provides comprehensive corporate and tax planning advice to large and small businesses. He also has extensive experience in affordable housing and frequently serves as counsel to syndicated partnerships and other transaction parties. He represents corporate and individual clients in administrative hearings before the Internal Revenue Service and state authorities.

Drew is experienced in all areas of estate planning, including developing sophisticated business succession plans. He is a frequent speaker on a wide range of tax matters, having taught courses in corporate taxation and corporate reorganizations as a member of the faculty of Bryant College's Graduate Tax Program.Drew is a co-founder of Chace Ruttenberg & Freedman, LLP. He was formerly a partner in the Providence law firm of Tillinghast Licht & Semonoff, LLP.
